Cedar Shake & Shingle Roofing

Cedar Shakes and Shingles

Jancewicz & Son is proud to be the only certified Cedar Shake and Shinge Bureau Installer in Vermont and one of two in New Hampshire. Our cedar shakes and shingles roofing provides a warm and elegant look (and even a rich aroma!) to homes across Vermont, New Hampshire, and Western Massachusetts. Provide an aesthetic that many homeowners find irresistible. Their rich, warm color and texture blend beautifully in any natural environment, and the natural effects of aging and weathering give shingles and shakes an attractive silvery grey color over time.

Cedar shakes and shingles contain a natural preservative making them uncommonly durable in their natural state. They can also be pressure treated for enhanced durability or fire retardance. Proper application of cedar shingles and shakes gives outstanding rigidity and resilience against extreme weather including high winds and pounding hail.

  • The exposure to the weather varies with each length or desired architectural appearance.
